Fresh dill from the garden is so wonderful in this recipe!
These dill biscuits are delicious served with a big green salad.
Be sure to use cold butter in all of your pie crust and biscuit recipes. Butter contains moisture and as it melts, it releases steam which expands between the layers of the dough. The pockets of air that the steam creates will make your pie crusts and biscuits nice and flaky.
Once you add the milk, keep mixing to a minimum. Overmixing the dough after adding in the milk can cause the biscuits to be tough.
