This is my mom’s chocolate fudge recipe. It’s really good and it sets up well. It’s firm just coming out of the refrigerator, but melts in your mouth when you eat it.

Chocolate Fudge

1 (7 ounce) jar Marshmallow Cream
1/2 cup Milk
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 cup Chocolate Chips

Combine the milk and powdered sugar together in a saucepan and heat to a boil. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly to keep from burning. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix the marshmallow cream with the chocolate chips.

Pour the warm milk into the marshmallows/chocolate chip bowl. Stir until well mixed and smooth.

Pour into a buttered 8×8 pan. Let completely cool before cutting into small squares.

Recipe Notes…

Whole milk works best in this recipe.

Be careful when pouring the milk into the marshmallow mixture because it will be really warm.

For peanut butter fudge, you can use 1 cup of peanut butter instead of the chocolate chips.

Store covered in the refrigerator.
