Waffles

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Waffles can't get any better than this!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoons White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups Warm Milk
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat waffle iron according to the manufacturer's directions.
  2. Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray (if needed).
  3. Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar; set aside. 
  4. In aseparate bowl, beat the eggs. 
  5. Stir the milk, butter, and almond extract into the eggs.
  6. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture; beat until blended.
  7. Ladle the batter intothe preheated waffle iron. 
  8. Cook the waffles until they are golden and crisp.
