Buttermilk Pancakes
This is the best buttermilk pancake recipe we've tried. They are light and fluffy and melt in your mouth!
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 ¼ cups Buttermilk
- 1/4 cup White Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Preheat a skillet over mediumheat.
- Pour small amounts of the batter onto the hot skillet to form the pancakes.
- Cook the pancakes until the edges appear to harden.
- Carefully flip the pancakes and cook on the other side until golden brown.
Notes
If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, you can make some by mixing 1 1/4 cups of regular milk with a 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice.
